Maia began her dance journey at the age of three. She grew up training in Ballet, Jazz, Lyrical, Contemporary, Hiphop, and Musical Theatre. At age 17, Maia moved to Sydney to pursue full time training at Ev&Bow, where she graduated with a Cert IV in Dance. During her time in Australia, Maia had the opportunity to be involved in projects working with leading industry artists such as Sarah Boulter, Stephen Tannos, Holly Doyle & Lucy Doherty. She was also signed under JLD.Entertainment as a performer for NRL Australia. Since returning to NZ, Maia has found a passion for choreography and teaching. She is thrilled to be joining the Extreme teaching team in 2023!
